Cousins by the Dozens Community Support Collective strengthens the Long Beach community by providing accessible personal, professional, and technical services that enhance everyday life. We partner with individuals and local organizations—including the YMCA, nursing homes, Boys & Girls Clubs, local businesses, schools, and neighborhood groups to deliver hands-on support in business operations, IT assistance, personal care, horticulture, and community programming while promoting safety, clean-up efforts, and spaces where residents can thrive.

Cousins by the Dozens offers members of our community professional and technical support by partnering with sole business technology liaison's and/or business technology organizations in the Long Beach, California area. Our commitment to integrity and empowerment means we serve with respect while helping individuals build confidence, independence, and practical skills.
Beauty, Cosmetics & Fashion Consultation
We, Cousins by the Dozens, aim to help build the confidence of those in our community. Our beauty, cosmetics, and fashion services provide much needed assistance, including: grooming, hygiene product assistance, hair care maintenance and fashion expertise assistance.
Community Wellness Support
We envision a Long Beach where every resident—youth, families, and seniors alike—has access to the practical support, safe spaces, and community connections needed to thrive. We offer youth kids sports and activities, beach volleyball, soccer and kickball. We over consultations for healthy eating, fitness, and servicing our local nursing homes.
Real Property & Housing
We purchase distressed homes, rehabilitate them, and return them to the community as safe, dignified housing that strengthens Long Beach neighborhoods. We also support homeowners in financial distress by helping them sell quickly and responsibly. Through thoughtful renovations, strategic partnerships, and a commitment to accessibility, we expand pathways to stable housing, homeownership, and long‑term neighborhood revitalization.

Cousins by the Dozens – Community Support Collective was born from a simple belief: when families, neighbors, and local organizations come together with intention, we can transform everyday life for the people around us. Growing up in a large family in Mobile, Alabama, I saw the strength, pride, and resourcefulness that defined our household. Our Southern family was so big and proud we were always called “cousins by the dozens.” After more than 20 years in Long Beach, I feel that same sense of family here. I also see how often that strength goes untapped; not from lack of willingness, but from lack of access, resources, or clear pathways to give back. Many residents who want to help struggle to find opportunities that match their skills. Our Collective exists to bridge that gap.
We were created to meet those needs with compassion, consistency, and practical service. Whether assisting seniors with technology, supporting youth through beach sports and mentorship, grooming residents in care facilities, helping small businesses, or leading community cleanups, our goal is always the same: show up with care and make life a little easier for someone else.
